Level 2 Award in Fire Safety

Fire Marshal

Course Details

This award in Fire Safety Training complies with The Fire Safety Order 2005 and is suitable for employees who have been appointed to carry out the role and responsibility of being a Fire Marshal in the workplace.

This qualification develops learners’ fire safety awareness. It includes how fires are caused, the risks associated with fire and what we can do to control fire risks in the workplace. It also covers the principles of fire safety management at work, fire safety inspection, fire safety risk assessment and the legal requirements related to fire safety in the workplace. Understanding the role of a Fire Marshal is a key component of this qualification.

As part of this course, Fireteach provides a controlled live fire practical session, giving participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using fire extinguishers to safely tackle a real fire scenario.

This course is for groups of up to 15 and takes 3 hours to complete.

Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness

Fire Awareness Course

Course Details

This course provides the perfect introduction to educating employees about the fire risks within their workplace and the safety measures that are in place to counteract them. It is suitable – and highly recommended – for all employees in all roles across your organisation, and it fulfils the legal requirements for Fire Awareness Training.

Fire Safety Awareness Training provides participants with a basic understanding of fire hazards, prevention measures, and emergency response procedures. It covers topics such as the chemistry of fire, fire behaviour, evacuation procedures, and the safe use of firefighting equipment. This training is suitable for all employees and is often a legal requirement in many workplaces.

As part of this course, Fireteach provides a controlled live fire practical session, giving participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using fire extinguishers to safely tackle a real fire scenario.

This course is for groups of up to 15 and takes 2 hours to complete.

Fire Extinguisher Training

Course Details

Our quick and simple Fire Extinguisher Training course teaches your employees about the various types of fire extinguishers that you may have in your workplace, and how to operate them effectively and safely. This course complies with the Fire Safety Order 2005 which states that all employees should undergo a form of Fire Training annually.

The course is suitable for organisations who wish to equip their staff with the knowledge of how to use firefighting equipment in the event of a fire, as well as providing good base knowledge of fire safety awareness.

The course benefits any employee at any level. Delegates learn about Fire Extinguishers and their limitations, how to identify different types of Fire Extinguishers and what classifications of fire they can be used on. They are also taught about assessing the situation for their personal safety.

Fire Coordinator Course

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP’s) Training

This course is essential for Fire Managers, Fire Marshals, Line Managers, Supervisors, or any manager responsible for staff or visitors with disabilities who may require additional support during a fire emergency.
